Alexandra Jost films short videos about Russian cities, traditions and everyday life from the viewpoint of an American who moved to Moscow. The content looks apolitical: festivals, food, streets, comparisons with the US. It has built a large audience among Western viewers.
Two Nations keeps her in the catalogue because of her reach and because readers will come across her content anyway. Her profile should be read as part of the debate about how foreign influencers shape the image of Russia, not as a neutral lifestyle recommendation.
