Russia in Paris: who explains one country to the other in French
French is one of the four languages this site is published in, and it is also one of the smaller corners of the creators directory. Here is what is in it.
Paris is where the French-language conversation about Russia is loudest and where most of the French-speaking channels in our directory are based. They are not political programmes. Most of them are one person comparing two everyday lives: prices, manners, paperwork, humour that travels badly in either direction.
That is the reason we list them at all. A French viewer asking what daily life in Russia costs, or how a Russian family talks at the dinner table, gets a more honest answer from someone who has lived on both sides than from a studio panel. We check the links, the activity and — where it is public — who is behind the channel. We do not rate opinions.
Where a channel has a documented affiliation from a named public source, the note sits on its profile page with the source and the date, in neutral wording. Creators can dispute a note through the form on the directory page, and the dispute shows on the card.
