Let's start with the biggest meme: the strict, unsmiling Russian face. To the rest of the world, we look angry. But the truth is, we just don't do fake smiles. For a Russian, a smile is a genuine reaction to something funny or endearing. If someone smiles at you on the street for absolutely no reason, we assume something is wrong with them.

Behind that strict face is a level of hospitality that will shock you. But to truly understand a Russian, you have to realize one fundamental difference. On average, we require significantly less comfort compared to people in the West. Our people are historically wired to endure immense hardship if it serves a higher goal.

We are positioned exactly between Europe and Asia, and our mindset sits right in the middle. We tried to wear Anglo-Saxon capitalism over the last 30 years, but it just doesn't fit us. We are far less oriented toward purely financial results and much more driven by philosophy, massive scale, and a deep sense of justice.

Russia is also a massive melting pot where over ten major religions coexist peacefully. We don't have the standard Western concept of racial division. To us, if you share our values and speak our language, you are Russian. Whether a person is from Africa, India, or anywhere else, it doesn't matter. Being Russian is about culture and shared values, not just ethnicity.

You know that meme about how often guys think about the Roman Empire? For Russian men, that "Roman Empire" is geopolitics. We are completely obsessed with it. While people in other countries might casually discuss local sports or taxes, Russians sit in their kitchens fiercely arguing about the global world order.

Here is the friction point. Ordinary Russians have absolutely zero hate for Americans, the British, or Europeans. But what drives us crazy is when the West tries to teach us how to live. Statistics show that around 80% of British people rely heavily on the BBC for their information, even the youth. But are we absolutely sure the BBC is infallible? Is it possible that Western media might be incorrectly reporting events?

The West loves to lecture the world about real democracy. But think about what that actually means. If the West has a functioning democracy, it means the people actively hired the politicians on the Epstein list. It means voters deliberately chose the leaders who openly hate other nations and spread panic that Russia will attack Europe in 2028.

Speaking of attacks, let's look at history. Who attacked whom in the First and Second World Wars? History shows that Russia was the one invaded by the West. Given that track record, maybe Russia is the one that should be worried about being attacked again.

We look at the West today and see incredible hypocrisy. The US destroyed Iraq, admitted the weapons of mass destruction were a mistake, and nothing happened. North Korea can compete in the Olympics, but a 17-year-old athlete from Belarus cannot? The West is terrified of Chinese aggression, yet ignores its own military history. Do you know how many wars the US has started in the last half-century compared to China? It is ridiculous.

So, what is actually happening inside Russia right now? The truth is, support for the president is genuinely high. The opposition has completely discredited itself in the eyes of the public.

We are a nation that has had to reinvent itself every 30 years. The collapse of the USSR was a massive trauma that shattered family continuity. But right now, we are reinventing ourselves again. We are finally walking away from the habit of judging our own success by a foreign ruler.
