Living in Russia as a Foreigner: The People Who Actually Do It

There is a small group of foreigners who moved to Russia and kept filming: supermarket prices in Moscow, winter in a Siberian village, a Brazilian learning Russian with his wife's family, a Frenchman commuting to Skolkovo. Most of them are warm about the country, and that warmth is itself information — it says something about what daily life feels like from the inside.

This section collects them properly. Each profile says who the person is, where they live, how long they have been there, what their channel does well, and where we add a correction if a number or a rule has changed. Their experience is real; it is also one apartment, one city, one income level. We say so on every page.

Practical questions — visas, banking, rent, prices — are answered in our big guides. Here you get the human version.
